BREC French Town Conservation Area: Education Buildling
We’re proud to have been the General Contractor for BREC’s project at the Frenchtown Conservation Area! This development replaced the existing flood-damaged building with a brand new 4,733 SF raised facility, designed to host BREC offices, public meetings, and educational programs.
Our scope included:
- Full demolition of the old structure
Construction of a modern, elevated building
Installation of a new sewer treatment system
Site upgrades for improved and accessible parking
Designed by Fusion Architecture, APC, and built in collaboration with an incredible team of subcontractors, including White Cap Supply; Angelle; Premier Concrete Sales; Prime Construction Group; Superior Steel; Orleans Sheet Metal Works & Roofing; Iberville Glass; MAR Construction; Himmel’s Hardware; Southeastern Overhead Door, Inc.; Walk On Art; Ravensberg; Precision Elevator; Kents Mechanical; FMM (Plumber); Total Electric; Arrow Pest Control, this project represents another step toward enhancing public spaces in East Baton Rouge Parish.
